| | To view Ent's website, we require Netscape or Internet Explorer 4 or higher.
Ent's minimum requirement for Online Banking is the standard 128-bit encryption that comes with any of the following browsers:
Windows 95/98/NT, Windows 3.1
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.01 or later (with 128 bit encryption)
- Netscape NavigatorTM 4.06 or later (with 128 bit encryption)
- Netscape Communicator 4.5 or later (with 128 bit encryption)
Macintosh Power PC
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.5 or later (with 128 bit encryption)
- Netscape NavigatorTM 4.08 or later (with 128 bit encryption)
- Netscape Communicator 4.5 or later (with 128 bit encryption)

|
| | The difference between these types of encryption is one of capability. 128-bit "high" or "strong" encryption is exponentially more powerful than 40-bit or 56-bit standard encryption. Think of it this way:
- Standard encryption (40-bit or 56-bit) – means there are 240 or 256 possible keys that could fit into the lock that holds your account information but only one that works for each Online Banking session. So there are many billions of possible keys that could potentially get to your account information – but only one that works each time you bank online.
- "High" or "strong" encryption (128-bit) – means there are 2128 (if you were to write the number down it would be 3.4 with 38 zeroes after it) possible keys that could fit into the lock that holds your account information, but only one that works for each Online Banking session. 128 bit encryption is a septillion times more secure than any other product. So a hacker attempting to get to your account information would need to use a whole serious of super computers connected together working for several years in order to find the one key to your 20 minute banking session.

| | A cookie is a file sent to a web browser by a web server that is used to record one's activities on a website. For instance, when you buy items from a site and place them in a so-called virtual shopping cart, that information is stored in the cookie. When the browser requests additional files, the cookie information is sent back to the server. Cookies can remember other kinds of personal information, such as your password, so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit the site; and your preferences, so the next time you return to a site, you can be presented with customized information. Some people regard cookies as an invasion of privacy; others think they are a harmless way to make websites more personal.
Most cookies have an expiration date and either reside in your computer's memory until you close your browser or saved to your hard drive. By the way, cookies cannot read information stored in your computer.
You can use a text editor to view cookie files. For Windows users of Netscape Navigator, the file is called cookies.txt and is located in the same folder as Netscape. Macintosh users can find it in the Netscape folder in the System/Preferences folder. Internet Explorer creates separate files for each cookie and stores them in folders named Cookies or Temporary Internet Files.

| | Bill Pay lets you schedule and make payments as well as receive and pay bills online through Bill Pay. You can pay anyone, anytime, anywhere in the United States, from your mortgage lender to your newspaper carrier. You can also set up automatic payments, such as a car payment or rent. You can schedule single payments up to a year in advance. The only payments you cannot make through your bill payment service are court-ordered payments and state and federal tax payments.

Pending payments, including automatic payments, are not paid. You no longer have access to your payment history and you can no longer send payment inquiries. You should wait until all of your scheduled payments are processed before you cancel your service. If you let your scheduled payments process, then you won't have any outstanding payments that you can't view or inquire about after you cancel your service.Your billers are notified to stop sending e-bills. However, it can sometimes take a few days for the biller to process the request. Therefore, until you begin receiving paper bills again you should contact the biller directly about your payment amount and payment due date. Because you can't send your payment using Bill Pay after you cancel your service, you should make your payment to the biller by some other means, such as a check. If you decide to use Bill Pay again, you will need to contact us.

| | We believe that Challenge questions are the least intrusive "multi-factor authentication" which Federal regulation mandates all banks and credit unions support or have in place by the end of 2006. The use of this feature adds an additional layer of protection to your account(s) when you access them online at Ent.
Federal regulations do not allow individual members to opt out of this security feature. Back to Top
|
| | This security enhancement has been developed as an added level of protection against identity theft and the threats posed by fraudsters impersonating legitimate businesses online. The goal of this enhancement is to help insure that you - and only you - are accessing your account online. In addition, this enhancement complies with federal regulations mandating "multi-factor authentication" for online account access by the end of 2006.

When you select your Challenge Questions, select or create questions with answers that are easy to remember. Because a good Challenge Question is something you "know" the answer to - not something additional you have to "remember" like an alpha numeric password - the standard question options include things like "What was your high school mascot?" and "What city did you honeymoon in?" Back to Top
|
| | To create your own question for one or more of your three required Challenge Questions, select the "Create your own question..." option from the question drop down list.
Tips for creating strong Challenge Questions:
Avoid creating questions that:
Have a limited number of answers or very predictable answers. (Example: Yes/No questions like "Is the sky blue?")
Have answers many people could know.
Have your public information – name, phone number, street address, etc. - as the answer. (Example: "What is my current zip code?")
Remember, the goal of Challenge Questions is to stop fraudsters from accessing your account online by asking questions that you – and only you (or your account's joint owner) – will know. By creating strong Challenge Questions, you’ll be getting the maximum benefit from this security feature. Back to Top
